VR motion breaking/not working on vivecraft 1.14.4 (bungee/spigot) server

Post by Bitz »

I have a public server with the spigot plugin installed on my server but it doesn't really work when you go to a different connected server like for example im in the lobby and I go to the Skyblock lobby (it also has the plugin installed) the VR motions stop working and so on for all of my other connected worlds and the 2d players can't see the movments at all for some reason (just normal 1.14.4 clients) a hot fix for this would be great I'm not sure what could be doing this

I'd like my server to be fully VR playable but this is kinda getting in the way of doing so

are there errors in the console? do the vr players show up as normal player? or as vr-players with the positions frozen? do users properly show up in /vive list?

There are no errors in console they show up as a normal player (not sure what you mean by VR player with position stuck (earlier when a few of my friends were on in Skyblock they could see me moving but it was locked to my head and arm))and with just me on at the moment /Vive list says 1 VR player connected (me) in the main lobby but when I go into the Skyblock world and do /Vive list it says 1 player connected but no VR players even though I'm in VR and returning to the main lobby says no VR players connected even though I'm in VR

I'm not very familiar with the inner workings of bungee, when you connect to a new lobby, does it send the normal PlayerJoin event? cause that's how we query for VR.

VSE also has a 'debug' setting you can turn on in the settings which might provide more information in the console.

I'm not sure how to check for that how would I check that?
If you mean if the "player has joined" in the chat then yes that's poping up as normal

I'm using the iportal plugin for going to different servers but I sometimes also use the /server (server name) command I'm not sure if that would help but just putting it out there

In the settings for VSE, there is a "debug" setting that you can activate if you want to see more information in the console.

Virtual reality simulation is the process of reproducing an environment, real or imagined, and simulating interaction in that environment. You may need the help of experienced virtual reality developers servreality.com, because motion development in VR is complex because it relies heavily on computer programming, graphic design, game design, and input devices such as gamepads or motion capture systems.
